| Job Description Our client, one of the largest Housing Associations in the UK, are seeking to appoint to the role of Development Manager. In this challenging role, you will deliver an agreed programme of projects, from inception to completion, whilst assisting the Regional Development Manager in identifying and appraising new development opportunities.
Through briefing and monitoring external consultants, controlling costs and managing projects you will ensure you meet internal and external targets.
You will have a demonstrable track record in property development and project management, familiarity with legal and technical aspects together with the Housing Corporation bidding process. You will process excellent communication and numeracy skills. The ability to work independently with high level of motivate will be vital to your success in this role.
Essential Criteria
•· Minimum 3 years housing development or related experience •· Knowledge of current housing issues •· Proven track record of effective staff management •· Experience of social housing development •· Budgetary and procedural control •· Excellent communication skills •· Good computer skills •· Experience of consortium working and strategic partnerships •· Good general education •· Commitment to equal opportunities •· Commitment to health and safety •· Ability to attend occasional meetings outside normal office hours •· Full driving licence
