Care is a very individual thing - no two older people have quite the same needs; which means you’ll add to their lives in a host of ways, from cooking and shopping to conversation, reading and singing. 

Specific experience isn’t essential. What counts is that you can take responsibility for the most important aspects of an older person’s life and give them the respectful care they deserve. If you have the sensitivity, team skills and physical fitness to do that, then your future at Servite looks very bright indeed. Ideally you’ll have gained an NVQ II in Care, although full training will be provided.
