To play a key role in the delivery and administration of the Association's development and

regeneration programme

• Administration of scheme development including liaison with consultants, solicitors,

valuers, local authority and Housing Corporation Officers.

• Ensure all development administration takes place to agreed timetables and budgets and

in accordance with the Association's Development Procedure Guide.

• Identifying and managing new business opportunities in line with priorities identified in the

Association's Development and Regeneration Strategy.

• Staff management as appropriate.
• Representing the Association at meetings with tenants, external meetings with

agencies, funders, tenants, residents and so on as appropriate, some of which may be

outside usual hours.

• Preparation and submission of schemes to lending authorities in accordance with

scheme work requirements and Association policy.

• Assist in identifying and purchasing suitable property and land.
• Obtain valuations, site investigation reports, etc as required.
• Preparation of scheme appraisals and cash flow forecasts.
• Maintaining and updating records by computer input and by developing new systems
• Assist preparation and attainment of annual budgets and targets, the production of

cost estimates, schedule of work, tender and contract documentation and contract

administration.

• Assist in production of cost estimates, schedules of work, tender and contract

• Assist in preparation of bids for funding within agreed timetables.
• Attending site meetings when required
• Assist in vetting of new contractors and consultants prior to appointment to the

Association's Approved Panels.

• Liaison with housing management and finance departments.
• Liaison with outside Agencies for whom the Association undertakes development and

provide associated administration service to same standards as in-house work.

• Preparation of written reports for approval by Directors and/or Board of Management.
• Provide a mentoring role for others in the Department.
• Any other appropriate duties that may be required.
