Job Details

The Graduate management trainee's work covers both operational and strategic aspects of

development. A structured training programme, based principally around work based

learning, will provide the post holder with experience across all areas of the development

process.

It is anticipated that this programme will last for approximately 2 years, with regular review,

after which the post holder will be equipped with the skills and experience to develop a

career in this discipline.

Customers, agencies, partner organisations, other staff

• To assist with all aspects of the delivery of the development programme as requested.
• Assisting with identification of development opportunities and reporting on same.
• Sustainability research as part of the project viability assessment.
• Preparation of feasibility studies.
• Assisting with the administration of Group Repair and other agency contracts for local

authority partners.

• Management of building contracts, monitoring progress and reporting on same.
• Assisting preparations for bids.
• Liaison with Housing Management and other Departments as appropriate.
• Preparation of reports as appropriate.
• Dealing with consultants and contractors.
• Dealing with members of the public.
• Representing the Association at meetings as requested.
• Providing cover for other staff as requested (including admin where necessary).
• Any other duties reasonably requested.
