	Job Description : We collect and aim to minimise arrears of rent, service charges and other charges. Crucially, we're increasing the emphasis on consulting stakeholders and encouraging tenant and leaseholder participation in managing their homes and neighbourhood's. The Housing Service has undertaken a restructure of the services it provides to the people who live in Council social housing stock. The engagement of tenants is critical to the service delivery. It will be your role to provide help and assistance to residents to enable them to become involved at a level of commitment that suits them. Whether they just want a quick chat to look at ways of making their estate a better place or whether they want help to set up a Residents Association, you will be there to support and guide them. You must have: * An understanding of the service delivery * Knowledge of basic repairs and maintenance issues in relation to homes and estates * Working knowledge of Housing Law * Experience of co-ordinating community development activities including accessing funding from External Agencies * Good communication skills
