	Job Description:



	Working within the Portsmouth City Council finance team responsible for supporting the 69 schools within the area, you will act as the direct support for senior finance officers. As their role keeps them away from the office for the majority of the week, your role will include: Ø Handling calls from schools – answering financial questions and resolving queries Ø Data entry of information to the Council’s Oracle financial system including transactions, invoices and journals Ø Preparation of training packs including photocopying and gathering information Ø Updating the office team diary Ø General administrative duties including filing and updating systems
