| ||
| Working within the finance team responsible for children, families and learning within Portsmouth City Council, you will be supporting the finance team to provide an effective accountancy service to internal customers. An excellent post for someone to build on their accounting knowledge or experience, the post will involve: Ø Payments and tracking of sales and purchase invoices Ø Processing and input of budget information onto financial systems Ø Weekly and monthly reconciliations Ø Journal entries and corrections Ø Answering financial issues and queries from internal budget managers Ø Ensuring financial procedures are completed as required by regulations Ø Post sorting and filing of records | ||
