Overview

Our client a Large London based RSL with strong ties with the local authority is looking to recruit a Head of PFI to:

• Manage the PFI contract and facilities in 4 resource centres for older people

• Ensure compliance with project agreement and sub agreements

• Represent the organisation as sub contractor to the special purpose vehicle for the PFI.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with project agreement and all relevant sub contracts

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory framework for the provision of care services

• Implementing and maintaining effective performance management systems across all performance standards, heath and safety and other contractual requirements

• Ensuing all services are customer focused, and delivered to the excellent standards expected at this level of operation

• Promoting a culture where each team member strives for continuous quality improvement and innovation whislt sharing a common sense of purpose and own creativity to improve residents quality of life.

• As a valued member of the senior management team you will contribute to the wider strategic and operational direction of the organisation

     Key Requirements of The Role

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience of contract management, preferably within a commercial environment

• Knowledge of business planning project and performance management

• Experience of managing in a competitive business environment

• Understanding of the service requirements of older people

• Degree level education or equivalent

• Significant senior and operational management experience within the health/social care sector and preferably a commercial environment

• Significant financial management experience

• Successfully negotiated within a contractual framework

• Successfully lead cultural and organisational change against a backdrop of continued customer focus

• Proven ability to think and act within the confines of a contract whilst maintaining focus on operational imperatives

Personal Qualities

• Politically astute in a range of environments and circumstances

• Ability to analyse complex data, review alternative solutions and come to a speedy and well informed decision

Key Financial Information

The role will last for between 18 months to 2 years. The client is willing to accept applications from both interim consultants and PAYE applicants.
